Digital forest web design process
An early-stage meeting defines the project scope and its processes.
We present our team of project managers, digital analysts, and designers to work out the vision as well as the smallest details of your website’s strategy.
Resultantly, we create the roadmap to include your business goals and objectives. With the project scope in hand, the baton is passed on to assess the technical requirements of your project.
All website needs are determined at this point by our technology leaders. Thereafter, our project managers work out the deliverables and milestones to create an overall project timeline.
1st Step – Discovery stage for a new project
The key to success for any new website project lies in discovering its scope and outcomes effectively. To ensure your website’s success, we work along with you to:
- Ascertain all functional aspects of the website
- Make sure that our solutions fulfill the requirements of your website and business
- Conceptualize and plan engaging user-experiences
- Align the website design and functionality with your business goals
- Freeze upon the costs of designing, developing and deploying end-to-end website solutions
2nd Step – Onboarding process
We email an Onboarding Questionnaire link to you once you send us the deposit amount. Your answers will give us a fair idea about your design preferences, branding, website images, files to be uploaded, domain name, business, website content, and so forth. The information provided is necessary to trigger off the website project and assign it to our workflow.
3rd Step – Web designing
- After processing the information provided in the Onboarding Questionnaire, the web designing team maps out each aspect of the website project.
- Work is initiated on the preliminary web design concepts. You will be kept in the loop at each stage of website design and development – from start to finish.
- You will be provided with 3 rounds of edits during the web designing phase. Do review and revert in time to facilitate action on revision requests, if any.
The time taken to complete the web design phase is directly proportional to the number of website pages and your degree of responsiveness. On an average, it takes 2-3 weeks to complete this phase. Once you are satisfied with the output, the website design gets over and we move into the testing phase.
4th Step – The testing phase
In this phase, our website testing team checks each part of the website design and its functionality. The website is tested on different devices and browsers to ascertain its performance.
5th Step – Website handover phase
We send the login details to you (by email) once the website testing team gives an ‘OK’. Soon after, we send out details about our WordPress introduction sessions to introduce you to the CMS. You will also receive details of the amount due to us for the work done.
6th Step – Go live!
This is the much-awaited phase when your new website is ready for launch. It will go live on the main domain after being shifted from the staging domain.
The time needed to go live ranges between 24-72 hours, in line with the setup time for your email account and new website. All business email accounts related to your domain will be set up at this stage.
7th Step – Continuous support
Once your website goes live, you are the master of the game. Make edits to your website content from anywhere, anytime. Prior training on the handling of the WordPress Content Management System (CMS) will increase your real-time utility of the website. You may reach out to our Support Team for any further assistance, now and in future.
